Best bait for pond bass besides live bait?

I have a load of junk in my tackle box I want to get rid of and I’m going fishing tomorrow. What should I use…name anything as long as its fake.

Most ponds are shallow and the fish feed primarily off fall in supply of food. As a result they watch the edges. do not approach the pond fish the sides from 20 feet away by castiing to the edge, even bounciing plastic baits on the edge and lettiing them barely fall over the edge into the water. I would use lizards and larger grubs and worms browns oranges and true nightcrawler copies should work well. Cast and then let it sit, jiggle your rod trying to jiggle the bait slightly. it gives the baits a struggling to recover froom the fall into the water look and is irresistable to bass. cast to five spots four to five feet from each other cast and then if no luck, move 30 feet over to the side. Don’t have the sun at your back.
